Setting

Le Domaine Saint Genies was built in the 18th century as an abbey, and has been restored to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 11 guests in five bedrooms. Set in the midst of vineyards close to the traditional village of St Didier, the tree-storey house is built around an inner courtyard containing a fountain.

Interiour

Inside, the house is traditionally furnished and decorated. A set of stone steps leads up to the middle floor where a spacious open-plan room is divided in living and dining areas. In the living area, two comfortable sofas surround a TV and a large fireplace. The dining table seats eight guests with seating for an additional four in the kitchen. The living area connects to two terraces, one at the front of the house, and one at the back, looking onto the inner courtyard, which has a dining table for eating al fresco. The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, an American refrigerator and freezer, an oven and stovetop with gas burners and a microwave oven. A separate laundry room houses a washmachine, a dryer, iron an ironing board. On this level is the first bedroom which has a double bed.

Topfloor: A large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed - Bedroom with two single beds. - Bathroom with bath with a jacuzzi feature, toilet and basin.

Groundfloor: Bedroom with direct access to the inner courtyard with bathroom with a shower, wasbasin and a toilet.

The fifth bedroom is in the poolhouse, it has a double bed and its own bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet.

Garden: Swimming pool (11 x 6, from 1 to 2 meters deep) with sunbeds and parasols.
